Does one subscription cover more than one site?

One Skiplog subscription covers one site. Both plans, annual at £1,188 a year and monthly at £129 a month, declare the same limit of one site, so a second yard keeping its own records needs its own subscription.

How the subscription is counted

Skiplog is priced by the site, not by the load and not by the head. Both plans carry the same three limits: sites, 1; waste transfer notes, unlimited; registrations tracked, unlimited. The annual plan is £1,188 a year, which is £99 a month billed once a year, and the monthly plan is £129 a month. The feature list is identical on both: digital transfer notes with waste type, EWC code, weight, carrier and destination, offline capture with a visible sync status on every note, the quarterly EA return as a ready-to-submit CSV, receipt-of-waste rows ready for Defra's spreadsheet for your yard to upload, carrier, broker and dealer registration tracking with expiry reminders and the dates in your own calendar, and a site dashboard with tonnage by waste type.

What one site's details cover

A subscription holds one site's details, typed once on the site screen: name, address and postcode, the permit or exemption number, region, a contact email and phone, any position statement, and the column layout your returns come out in. Reporting the waste you receive asks for the receiver's side of every load too, so the site screen also holds the receiving site name and its environmental permit or authorisation number. Those details head every transfer note recorded on that subscription, every quarterly return generated from it, and every receipts batch exported in Defra's template column order, so a file always says which yard the waste moved through.

Because the yard's identity sits on the subscription, a second yard keeping its own register works on its own subscription: its own notes, its own return, and its own receipts batches with their own reported marks, Defra references and rejection dates. Keeping the two apart is the shape the paperwork is already in.

If your setup does not fall neatly either side of that, say more than one permit held at one address, or one address worked by two operating companies, we are not going to guess at it on a web page. Join the waitlist and tell us the shape of the yard, and we will tell you plainly what the account will and will not do before you commit anything.

Skiplog is built to help a site meet the record-keeping the waste tracking rules ask for. It does not submit on your behalf and it cannot guarantee a compliance outcome, because that rests on the figures your weighbridge and your drivers put in.

Questions

Does one subscription cover more than one site?

No. Both plans declare the same limit, sites: 1, so one subscription carries one site's details and that site's records. A second yard keeping its own register works on a second subscription. The plans are otherwise identical, so the second yard gets the same product rather than a cut-down version of it.

What does the site on a subscription actually hold?

The yard's name, address and postcode, its permit or exemption number, its region, a contact email and phone, any position statement, and the column layout your returns use. It also holds the receiving site name and the environmental permit or authorisation number that Defra's receipt of waste reporting wants on every load. Those details are stamped onto each transfer note, each quarterly return and each receipts export, so every file is headed with the yard it belongs to. Everything else on the subscription, the notes, the tracked registrations and the dashboard figures, sits under that one site.

I run two yards. What does that cost?

Two subscriptions. On the monthly plan that is £129 a month each. On the annual plan it is £1,188 a year each, so £2,376 a year for the pair, which works out at £99 a month per site. There is no multi-site discount in the declared plans, and nothing on this page should be read as one.

Do the two yards share a dashboard, a return or a receipts batch?

No. Each subscription has its own site dashboard showing notes logged, tonnage by waste type and a compliance status overview, its own one-click quarterly CSV in the EA column layout, and its own receipts export in Defra's template column order. Reported marks, Defra references and rejection dates belong to the batch the yard sent, so one yard's upload cannot clear the other's. If you need one roll-up figure across several yards in a group, that is what the larger platforms are for, and the comparison pages in this section go through the trade-off.

Does the two working day receipts clock run per site?

Yes, because the records sit under one site. Each subscription has its own dashboard card listing the loads not yet put into Defra's service, grouped as overdue, due today and due tomorrow against the two working day deadline. After a receipts download the screen asks whether the rows were uploaded, and confirming stamps those notes as reported on that site. A rejection notice recorded on one yard's batch sets a fresh correction deadline for that yard only.

Is there a cap on transfer notes or registrations per site?

No. Both plans declare waste transfer notes as unlimited and registrations tracked as unlimited. A busy skip yard logging forty loads a day pays the same as a transfer station logging four. The limit that matters on these plans is the single site, not the volume going across the weighbridge.

Do I pay per person as well as per site?

The declared plan limits name sites, transfer notes and registrations, and nothing else. There is no per-head line in either plan, so adding the people who work the yard does not change the price of that site's subscription. The weighbridge and the office each get their own sign-in and their own name against every note they write, rather than the yard sharing one login.

Does the free trial work the same on both plans?

Yes. Annual and monthly both carry a 60-day free trial, and the trial is the whole product rather than a sample of it, so you can record real loads, track a carrier registration, generate a quarterly CSV and export receipt rows inside it. Since a subscription covers one site, a trial covers that site's records. Payment runs through Stripe, card details never reach Skiplog, and the pages in this section on the trial and on cancelling set out what happens at the end of it.
