Plans and prices: what each Skiplog plan includes

Skiplog has two plans, Yard at £39 a month and Team at £69 a month, each also payable once a year at £390 and £690. This article sets out what is in each one, what it costs, and how to decide which fits your yard.

What this article helps with

Use this when you are picking a plan at the start, or when the yard has changed and the plan no longer fits: a second person in the office, a compliance person who needs her own login, or a preference to pay once a year instead of every month.

Every plan carries the same 30-day free trial, and starting the trial needs no card. All four plans cover one site, with unlimited transfer notes and unlimited registrations tracked, so the choice is about how many people sign in and how often you want to pay.

The four plans and what they cost

Yard, £39 / month

The owner-operator of a single skip yard or transfer station who writes the notes himself with one other person in the office. One site, two people, unlimited notes and unlimited registrations tracked. 30-day free trial.

Team, £69 / month

A busier single site where the weighbridge, the drivers' office and the compliance person each need their own login. One site, no limit on people. 30-day free trial.

Yard annual, £390 / year

The Yard plan paid once a year: £390 instead of £468, a 17% saving for a yard that would rather pay once and forget it. Same limits as Yard, same 30-day free trial.

Team annual, £690 / year

The Team plan paid once a year: £690 instead of £828, the same 17% saving with a login for everyone on the yard. Same limits as Team, same 30-day free trial.

Choosing the plan that fits the yard

  1. Count the people who need their own login

Yard covers two people on one site. If the weighbridge, the drivers' office and the compliance person each sign in as themselves, that is Team, which has no limit on people and names the person who wrote each note. Notes and registrations are unlimited on both.

  2. Decide monthly or once a year

Yard is £39 a month or £390 a year. Team is £69 a month or £690 a year. Paid yearly, Yard costs £390 instead of £468 and Team £690 instead of £828, a 17% saving on either tier. Nothing else changes between the monthly and annual versions.

  3. Start the 30-day trial without a card

Every plan carries a 30-day free trial and starting it needs no card. Use the trial for real loads rather than test ones, so you find out whether the notes and the return suit the way your yard works.

  4. Pay by card when you pick a plan

Card payments are taken through Stripe. Card details never touch Skiplog: it holds your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference, so it knows the account is paid without asking Stripe on every page.

  5. Ask before you commit if the choice is close

If you cannot tell whether two logins are enough for the way the yard runs, email support@getskiplog.com with the question before the trial ends. Every message to that address lands in the support desk.

If the plan does not fit, or something looks wrong

If the plan you are on no longer suits the yard, or the account shows a plan you did not pick, email support@getskiplog.com. Every message to that address lands in the support desk.

Your records do not depend on the billing state. Everything is kept while the account is open, because waste records have to span quarters and inspections, and a lapsed trial does not lock the records away: they stay readable and exportable. A transfer note you remove comes off your register and your returns but stays on file for the two years the regulations require.

On the site screen, Export my data downloads it all as a file, and Delete my account removes your account, your site and every record at once, cancelling a live subscription first. Type your email to confirm. If you have added other people to your site, remove them there first, so a yard's records are never deleted out from under them.

If you are still finding your way around, the getting started article covers your first transfer note, and there are separate articles on working offline and on the quarterly EA return.

Questions

Do I need a card to start the free trial?

No. Starting the free trial needs no card, and the trial is 30 days on every plan.

How long is the free trial?

Thirty days, on Yard, Team, Yard annual and Team annual alike.

What is the difference between Yard and Team?

Yard allows two people on one site. Team has no limit on people, gives each person their own account so every note names who wrote it, lets you configure the return columns for your area office, keeps saved returns you can re-download unchanged, and puts expiry dates in a calendar you subscribe to.

How much do I save by paying yearly?

Yard annual is £390 instead of £468 and Team annual is £690 instead of £828, a 17% saving on either tier.

Does Skiplog store my card details?

No. Card payments go through Stripe and card details never touch Skiplog. Skiplog keeps only your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference.

What happens to my transfer notes if I do not subscribe when the trial ends?

The records stay. Everything is kept while the account is open, and a lapsed trial does not lock the records away: they remain readable and exportable.

Is there a limit on how many transfer notes I can write?

No. Waste transfer notes and registrations tracked are unlimited on all four plans, and each plan covers one site.

Who do I ask about my plan?

Email support@getskiplog.com. Every message to that address lands in the support desk.
